Fizzmind Summer Camp 2026

Last updated: April 15, 2026

1. Eligibility

Fizzmind Summer Camps are open to children aged 8 to 16 years at the time of camp attendance. Two age groups are offered: 8–12 and 12–16. Each age group has its own cohort with age-appropriate activities, project complexity, and supervision. Proof of age is required in the form of a valid passport or government-issued identification document. Fizzmind reserves the right to verify age and deny participation if documentation is insufficient or fraudulent.

2. Application & Selection Process

Submission of an application does not guarantee admission to any Fizzmind camp. Fizzmind operates a multi-stage selection process consisting of: (a) an AI-powered assessment or skills test; (b) review by the Fizzmind admissions team; (c) a Challenge Week for shortlisted applicants; and (d) final selection of 10 students per cohort. All selection decisions are made at the sole discretion of the Fizzmind team and are final. Fizzmind is not obligated to provide reasons for non-selection. Application processing fees, if any, are non-refundable regardless of outcome.

3. Program Fees & Payment

Program fees vary by location and duration as published on the Fizzmind website at the time of acceptance. Current fees for Summer 2026 are: Kuala Lumpur 2-day overnight ($299), 4-day residential ($999), 8-day residential ($1,799); Dubai, Riyadh, Singapore, and Estonia 1-week residential ($2,499 each); USA 2-week residential ($3,999). Fees include: supervised accommodation, all meals and snacks, all activities and excursions, materials and equipment, local transportation, camp merchandise pack, end-of-camp portfolio and report, and 24/7 medical support on call. Full payment is due within 14 days of acceptance. Payment plans of 2 or 3 installments may be arranged upon request by contacting hello@fizzmind.com. Late payment may result in forfeiture of the student's place in the cohort.

4. What Is Not Included

The following are not included in program fees and are the sole responsibility of the participant's family: international flights to and from the camp location; airport transfers (available as an optional add-on); personal spending money; travel and medical insurance (strongly recommended); visa application fees and processing; any costs arising from early departure or program removal; personal equipment beyond what Fizzmind provides; additional excursions or activities not listed in the official program.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellations must be submitted in writing to hello@fizzmind.com. The following refund schedule applies based on the date of written cancellation relative to the camp start date: More than 60 days before: 80% refund of program fees. 30–60 days before: 50% refund. Less than 30 days before: No refund. No-show on camp start date: No refund. If Fizzmind cancels a cohort due to insufficient enrollment or operational reasons, a full 100% refund will be issued within 14 business days. In cases of force majeure (pandemic, natural disaster, government travel restrictions, civil unrest), Fizzmind will offer the choice of: (a) full refund; (b) transfer to a future camp date at no additional cost; or (c) transfer to a different location, subject to availability.

6. Parental Consent

A parent or legal guardian must provide explicit written consent for the student's participation in Fizzmind. This consent may be provided digitally through the application form or by uploading a signed physical consent form. The consenting parent/guardian confirms: they have legal authority to grant consent; all information provided in the application is true and complete; they authorize Fizzmind staff to make emergency medical decisions on behalf of the student; they have disclosed all relevant medical conditions and allergies; they understand and accept the inherent risks of outdoor and adventure activities. Consent cannot be provided by the student themselves, regardless of age.

7. Medical, Health & Safety

Parents/guardians must fully and accurately disclose all relevant medical information including: known allergies (food, drug, environmental); current medications and dosages; chronic conditions (asthma, diabetes, epilepsy, etc.); mental health conditions (ADHD, anxiety, depression, etc.); dietary requirements (vegetarian, halal, kosher, allergies, etc.); recent surgeries or injuries; immunization status. Fizzmind provides 24/7 medical support on call at all camp locations. All counselors are trained in basic first aid. In case of medical emergency, Fizzmind staff are authorized to seek emergency medical treatment including hospitalization, medication, and surgical intervention if necessary to protect the student's health and safety. Costs of emergency medical treatment beyond basic first aid are the responsibility of the family. Travel and medical insurance is strongly recommended for all participants and is mandatory for international camp locations. Fizzmind is not an insurer and does not provide medical insurance coverage.

8. Supervision & Safety

Fizzmind maintains a counselor-to-student ratio of no worse than 1:3 at all times during camp activities. All staff undergo background checks appropriate to the jurisdiction of the camp location. Accommodation is supervised, gender-separated, with 2–4 students per room. Camp premises are secured and access-controlled. Students must remain within designated areas and with their cohort at all times unless explicitly permitted otherwise by a counselor. Night-time supervision is provided throughout overnight hours. All adventure and outdoor activities are conducted under the supervision of qualified instructors with appropriate safety equipment.

9. Code of Conduct

All participants are expected to: treat fellow campers, staff, and local communities with respect and kindness; participate actively in all scheduled activities; follow instructions from counselors and staff; respect camp property and the property of others; maintain appropriate personal hygiene. The following behaviors are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate removal from the program without refund: bullying, harassment, or intimidation of any kind; physical violence or threats; discrimination based on race, nationality, religion, gender, or any other characteristic; possession or use of alcohol, tobacco, or any controlled substance; possession of weapons or dangerous items; sexual misconduct of any kind; deliberate destruction of property; repeated defiance of camp rules after warning. Electronic devices (phones, tablets, laptops) may be restricted during certain activities at the discretion of counselors. Devices are permitted during free time and for communication with parents.

10. Photography, Video & Media

Fizzmind routinely photographs and records video during camp activities for the following purposes: daily parent communication (via private, secure photo feed); end-of-camp portfolio and documentation; marketing, promotional, and social media use; press and media coverage. By accepting these terms, parents consent to their child being photographed and recorded during camp activities. Parents may opt out of marketing and promotional use by notifying Fizzmind in writing at hello@fizzmind.com before the camp start date. Opting out of marketing use does not affect the parent photo feed or the student's camp portfolio. Fizzmind will make reasonable efforts to exclude opted-out students from marketing materials but cannot guarantee complete exclusion in group photos or video. Students may not photograph, record, or share images of other students on personal social media without the other student's (and their parent's) consent.

11. Limitation of Liability

Fizzmind takes all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all participants. However, participation in summer camp activities — including but not limited to outdoor sports, hiking, water activities, cooking, workshop activities, and travel — carries inherent risks that cannot be entirely eliminated. By accepting these terms, parents/guardians acknowledge and accept these inherent risks. Fizzmind's total liability for any claim arising from or related to the camp program is limited to the program fees actually paid by the participant's family. Fizzmind is not liable for: injuries arising from the participant's own negligence or misconduct; loss, theft, or damage to personal property including electronic devices; delays, cancellations, or disruptions caused by airlines, transport providers, or other third parties; emotional distress, disappointment, or dissatisfaction with the camp experience. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits Fizzmind's liability for death or personal injury caused by Fizzmind's gross negligence or willful misconduct.

12. Travel, Visas & Immigration

All international travel arrangements including flights, airport transfers, and travel insurance are the responsibility of the participant's family. Fizzmind will provide invitation letters and supporting documentation for visa applications upon request. Fizzmind is not responsible for visa application outcomes. If a participant is denied a visa for their selected camp location, Fizzmind will offer: (a) a full refund minus any non-recoverable processing fees; or (b) transfer to a different camp location for which the participant has valid travel authorization. It is the family's responsibility to ensure: the student holds a valid passport with at least 6 months validity beyond the camp end date; all required visas and travel authorizations are obtained before travel; the student complies with all immigration requirements of the camp country; the student has appropriate travel and medical insurance coverage.

13. Scholarships

Scholarship awards (need-based and merit-based) are at the sole discretion of the Fizzmind Scholarship Committee. All scholarship decisions are final. Need-based scholarship applicants must provide accurate financial documentation. Misrepresentation of financial circumstances constitutes grounds for immediate scholarship revocation and may result in removal from the program. Scholarship recipients are bound by all the same terms and conditions as full-paying participants. Scholarship status is confidential — no camp staff, counselors, or fellow participants are informed of any student's scholarship status. Scholarships are not transferable between students, locations, or program years. Need-based and merit-based scholarships may be combined up to a maximum of 100% of program fees. Scholarship recipients who cancel their participation are subject to the same cancellation policy as full-paying participants, applied to the portion of fees they were responsible for (if any).

14. Data Privacy & Protection

Fizzmind collects, stores, and processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Data collected includes: student personal information (name, date of birth, nationality, contact details); parent/guardian information; medical and health information; application materials (essays, assessment results); financial documents (scholarship applications only); photographs and video recordings. Data is used solely for: application processing and admissions decisions; camp operations and student safety; communication with families; marketing and promotion (with consent); legal compliance. Data is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for commercial purposes. Scholarship financial documents are reviewed only by the Scholarship Committee and are securely deleted within 90 days of the scholarship decision. Parents may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their child's personal data at any time by contacting hello@fizzmind.com. Data deletion requests will be fulfilled within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

15. Intellectual Property

Projects, artwork, code, and other creative works produced by students during camp activities remain the intellectual property of the student. Fizzmind retains a non-exclusive, perpetual license to photograph, document, and showcase student work for promotional and educational purposes, with credit to the student. The Fizzmind name, logo, brand materials, curriculum, and proprietary methods are the intellectual property of Fizzmind and may not be reproduced or used without written permission.

16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from or related to these terms or participation in Fizzmind programs shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in accordance with the AIAC Arbitration Rules then in effect. The language of arbitration shall be English. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding on both parties.

17. Amendments

Fizzmind reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Material changes will be communicated to all applicants and accepted participants via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued participation in the program after notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the amended terms. The most current version of these terms is always available at fizzmind.com/terms.
